After our side-trip to Red River Valley, we dropped by at this very prestigious and high-end Residential Resort, still in Valencia Negros Oriental. It is just a 15min. drive from the main City of Dumaguete, we have passed by it prior to reaching Pulangbato Waterfalls, we have decided to visit it as we head on our way back to the City.
Nestled on the slopes of Palinpinon in Valencia, Negros Oriental is a virtual residential mountain-side resort subdivision. Practically untouched by the ravages of man until its potential as a “perfect hideaway” without straying too far from urban living was discovered, it would be well for prospective dwellers to see for themselves what the place has to offer to appreciate it better.

Aptly called Tierra Alta because of its high terrain, the whole expanse is set on a nature-inspired residential resort theme.
In keeping with its bucolic charm, one can actually have the best of both worlds. While one may enjoy the irresistible charm of the mountainside, one can also enjoy the expansive overlooking view of the ocean and nearby islands, picturesque sunrise, cool breeze and perfect privacy, thus providing such a breathtaking, one-of-a-kind experience in a lifetime.

Tierra Alta offers residential lots with panoramic overlooking views of the nearby islands. Situated along mountain ridges that gently slope down, Tierra Alta is your serene and private habitat shared by those who appreciate the wonders of nature and the comforts of modern living.

Enjoy nature in its pristine glory and take pleasure as you indulge yourself in our unmatched and supreme amenities like the, Greek-inspired clubhouse and pavilion, enormous lagoon type infinity swimming pool, restaurant, lighthouse view deck, cliff-side boulevard, picnic and bonfire areas, spacious open parks and latest craze, the zipline adventure ride.

It was such an unfortunate incident that we arrived past 6 o’clock in the evening because the Zip line is already closed. At the amount of only Php 250, I should’ve experienced the thrill of being on that zip line for only 55seconds. I still don’t have any experience on a certain zip line, I’m a bit afraid of course but I want to start overcoming my fears.

The Clubhouse of Tierra Alta is open for public, you have to pay for Php 200.00/person which is consumable at Tierra Cafe’. Not bad right? Especially if eating is really part of the plan. When you want to swim on their pool, you have to pay Php 550.00 per person, though the consumable amount is only Php 300.00. But it’s still not bad, swimming in a pool with a wonderful kind of view. Every part of the clubhouse is picture-perfect. The architectures, landscape, interiors and its style in general is edgy and very appealing to all senses.

When in Dumaguete City, don’t hesitate to drop-by here, it’s only a few minutes away from the City. Plan a sightseeing tour here and don’t forget to prepare your stomach for their very yummy snacks and meal. It’s really great, trust me. It’ll be an eye satisfying and a stomach fulfilling tour.
