This entry is not a review about Villa Diana Hotel but rather an archived post regarding our pig-out post V-day Buffet and Party. Though I’m not a ma-”dinner” person, I considered this as a “cheat day”. Since I know, I’ll have many choices of food in there. Though, I prayed that there will be more seafood dishes because I still don’t want to eat pork/beef meat even though it’s a cheat day.
This is how they welcome all the guest, add the photographers and it gives you a feeling of entering an Oscar Party! Big Chos! That’s how they want you to feel; special/VIP.

I wasn’t able to photograph all the food because of the crowd that served as big obstacle to a wonderful moment of a capturing the photo. I think I love their maki and sushi. I’m not a fan of sweets, I think I just love the presentation of the desserts (ma-effort). But as usual, flop pa din for me ang desserts. My favorite spot is the 4th photo (right below), that man who’s wearing a toque is the one who prepares the grilled tanigue, and beside him (not inside the pic anymore) is tempura corner (what a lovely corner!)
And that was how my plate looked like.
There we are enjoying the way I want by tasting almost everything. I am not that obsessive to a certain food or dish, more choices means more dishes to taste. Maybe I’m a food taster in my past life. In my food trip to Villa Diana, I can say that in an average manner, I was satisfied. I’m just trying to forget how sweet the Iced tea that night, I almost ask for a shot of insulin. But nevertheless, the dishes were a bit edgy, non-traditional and diverse. I have observed that they don’t have a certain concept, or maybe the concept itself is a complex tastes in some parts of the world. But nevertheless (again), I enjoyed the dynamics that I have observed while strolling around different food corners.

The night was so young and lively. It was the time to burn some calories from the food consumed. But nah, I wasn’t able to move like jagger that night. I don’t know. I’m in the mood but maybe the people around me aren’t prepared to see how I move. Or maybe because of the genre of dance that the majority are doing. You know that ballroom stuff with all the D.I.(Dance Instructor)?I don’t mean to be mean, but to be honest; we were surrounded by bunch of “matured/older” people in their most stunning ballroom outfit. I am not against them ( I was a ballroom dancer in my high school days just so you know) and I enjoyed watching them enjoy the night. Their energy was superb! Imagine that consecutive dance numbers they had, exhaustion was never visible in their faces. They are truly having a sweet life!
The one-night experience was truly gastronomic. We strolled around as an aid for easier digestion. We sit beside their pool and just stared at the moon, wow (lakas maka-New Moon;Twilight Saga). Maybe I’ll review more about Villa Diana, more about the Hotel, Amenities and etc. Maybe, an overnight stay there is a great Bloggability. Ok. Just Maybe.
